JEFFERSON CITY鈥�(March 16, 2026)鈥�鈥� The鈥�网曝吃瓜 (网曝吃瓜), the state鈥檚 leading small business advocacy organization, today released new paid radio advertisements urging the Missouri Legislature to put a stop聽to聽abusive聽website-related聽lawsuits. This comes after small business owners from across the state have received demand letters from predatory trial attorneys, claiming their websites聽don鈥檛聽comply with聽the聽Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)聽and demanding thousands of dollars in settlements.

鈥淚t is shameful that predatory trial attorneys are weaponizing the transformative work of the Americans with Disabilities Act against Main Street businesses to make a quick buck,鈥濃��网曝吃瓜 State Director Brad Jones鈥�said. 鈥淲e鈥檙e asking the Legislature to put a stop to this聽lawsuit聽abuse.鈥�

网曝吃瓜 is championing聽SB 907,聽which aims to put a stop to trial attorneys鈥� attempts to force a settlement without allowing the business an opportunity to resolve the issue.
