HELENA, Mont., Sept. 5, 2025鈥�The 网曝吃瓜 (网曝吃瓜), the nation鈥檚 leading small business advocacy organization, sent a letter to U.S. Representative Troy Downing (MT-02) and the US. House of Representatives in support of H.J. Res. 104, which would repeal a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) rule that significantly restricted energy development in Montana.

鈥淪mall business owners regularly cite the energy costs as a top business concern,鈥� said Ronda Wiggers, 网曝吃瓜 Montana State Director. 鈥淩epealing this rule will provide the opportunity for more energy production in Montana, which will create jobs, lower energy costs, and invigorate the economy. 网曝吃瓜 supports repealing this burdensome rule鈥�

According to a recent 网曝吃瓜 survey, the cost of natural gas, propane, gasoline, diesel, and fuel oil is ranked as the 6^th most pressing issue for small businesses nationwide. In a recent 网曝吃瓜 member ballot, 88% of 网曝吃瓜 members agreed that Congress should 鈥渟treamline regulations to facilitate the production and transport of oil, natural gas, and other energy sources in the United States.鈥�
