WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 21, 2026) 鈥� The 网曝吃瓜 (网曝吃瓜), the nation鈥檚 leading small business advocacy organization, sent a letter to Representative Eric Burlison (MO-07) in support of H.R. 8324, the Great American Healthcare Plan, which would expand Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and give greater flexibility to small businesses to offer health coverage to their employees.

鈥淭he rising cost of health insurance has been a top concern for small businesses for decades,鈥� said Tyler Dever, 网曝吃瓜 Principal of Federal Government Relations. 鈥淭his legislation provides a common sense, immediate solution by modernizing and expanding the HSAs American鈥檚 already rely on to save on and pay for healthcare expenses. The Great American Healthcare Plan would be an important step toward more affordable health coverage for small businesses and their employees.鈥�

For over 40 years, rising health insurance costs have been identified by small business owners as their number one problem. In a recent 网曝吃瓜 member ballot, 94% of 网曝吃瓜 members believe that the federal government should allow individuals to use tax-free dollars from a Health Savings Account to pay for medical expenses not covered by insurance. A whopping 98% of small business owners cited that their ability to provide health insurance benefits to their employees will become unsustainable in the next 5-10 years, according to 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 2023 health insurance survey.
